Bobby Wagner hurt in possible home finale with Seahawks

In what may have been his final home game with the Seahawks, Seattle linebacker Bobby Wagner suffered a knee injury on Detroit’s opening play from scrimmage on Sunday.

Wagner seemed to slip and fall awkwardly while attempting to defend Jamaal Williams’ screen pass. Wagner lingered on the field for a few moments before walking away.

Wagner attempted to return to the game but was escorted back to the bench, where he later proceeded to the locker room with a trainer. He never came back to the bench.

Wagner stated earlier in the week that he was aware that this could be his final home game with the Seahawks. In 2022, he has a $20 million salary cap charge, and Seattle is expecting a lot of changes in the offseason.

After being trapped in a pile while blocking on a run by D’Onta Foreman in the second quarter against Miami, Tennessee Titans tight end MyCole Pruitt was taken off the field with a right leg injury. As he thrashed on the field, Pruitt’s right foot was bent. A wagon was promptly summoned, and Pruitt’s right leg was fitted with an air cast. Mike Vrabel, the Titans’ coach, was among those who assisted the tight end off the field and into the cart.

After hurting his left knee while scoring the Cowboys’ first touchdown against Arizona, Dallas receiver Michael Gallup had to be helped off the field. Late in the first half, the fourth-year receiver’s 21-yard reception gave the Cowboys a 10-7 lead.

Tight end with the Washington Capitals In the second quarter of a home loss to Philadelphia, Ricky Seals-Jones was injured in a violent collision with a camera operator on the sideline. Before being placed onto a stretcher and taken away, Seals-Jones’ neck was stabilized. Despite a cut on his nose, the cameraman continued to work. Seals-Jones was walking about and doing fine, according to coach Ron Rivera.

Colts defensive back Xavier Rhodes (hamstring), Patriots running back Damien Harris (hamstring), and safety Adrian Phillips (wrist) were among the players injured on Sunday, as were Atlanta tight end Kyle Pitts (hamstring), Chiefs right tackle Lucas Niang (knee), Bengals left guard Quinton Spain (right ankle), Dolphins linebacker Elandon Roberts (groin), and Eagles right guard Nate Herbig (groin) (left ankle).

Jets running back Michael Carter (concussion) and left tackle George Fant (left knee); Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones (ankle) and defensive back Rashard Robinson (groin); Texans safety Jonathan Owens (wrist), defensive lineman Jonathan Greenard (shoulder), and defensive back Grayland Arnold (ankle); Broncos left guard Daryl Risner (elbow); Saints safety P.J.
